Sanvi's pov
It's hard to believe it's been a long time since our wedding. It feels like just yesterday we were exchanging our vows and promising to love and cherish each other.
But as the days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months, I began to feel a shift within myself.
I started to take on more responsibilities around the house, not just because I had to, but because I wanted to.
I wanted to be a partner to my husband, to support them and help them in any way that I could. I started taking care of the household chores.
At first, it was a bit of an adjustment. I had to learn how to prioritize tasks, manage my time, and be more efficient in everything that I did. But as I settled into my new role, I started to feel a sense of pride and accomplishment.
One of the biggest changes I noticed in myself was my newfound attention to detail.
I used to be more careless and spontaneous, but now I found myself double-checking everything before doing it.
It wasn't just about being more responsible; it was about being more mindful and intentional.
I wanted to make sure that everything I did was thoughtful and considered, and that it would have a positive impact on our home .
The night air was calm and serene, but my mind was racing with anticipation. I glanced at the clock on the wall, and my heart sank as I saw that it was already 10 pm.
My husband was still not home, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of worry creeping in.
I tried to distract myself by focusing on the household chores that needed to be done.
I start doing dishes , wiped down the kitchen counters, and swept the floor. The familiar routine was comforting, but my mind kept wandering back to my husband's whereabouts.
As I worked, the rest of the family members slept peacefully . I tried to push the thoughts aside and focus on the task at hand, but it was no use.
My ears strained to pick up any sound that might indicate my husband's return.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I finished the last of the chores and made my way to our bedroom.
I changed into comfortable clothes and settled into bed, trying to calm my racing thoughts.
Author's pov
As he stepped inside from the crisp outside air, his mind was still preoccupied with the work discussion he had just had.
But as his eyes instinctively glanced at his watch, his expression changed. He was running late. He had promised to be home by now, after finalizing some papers with a man .
But as he was walking back, he got distracted by a shop that caught his eye.
Lost in thought, he quickened his pace, his feet carrying him towards home on autopilot.
As he stepped into the house, he was enveloped by an unsettling darkness. The silence was oppressive, and he couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. He called out, his voice echoing through the empty halls, "Sanvi? Sanvi, is that you?"
But there was no response. The silence was deafening, and he felt a growing sense of unease. He took a step forward, his eyes straining to adjust to the darkness. "Sanvi!" he yelled again, his voice louder and more urgent.
Still, there was no answer.
He reached for the switch to turn on the light, but nothing happened. He flipped it again, but still, there was only darkness.
Suddenly, he realized that there was a power cut, plunging the entire area into darkness.
He fumbled in his pocket for his phone and turned on the flashlight app, casting a weak beam of light through the darkness.
The room was empty, the furniture shrouded in shadows. He took another step forward, his heart pounding in his chest.
Where was Sanvi? Why wasn't she answering him? He felt a cold dread creeping up his spine as he moved through the house, calling out her name. But there was only silence.
But there was only silence. He walked further inside, his footsteps echoing off the walls.
He made his way to his bedroom, his eyes adjusting to the dim light. And that's when he saw her - Sanvi, fast asleep, her chest rising and falling with each gentle breath. He smiled, feeling a surge of love and affection for this beautiful woman who shared his life.
He sat down beside her, his eyes drinking in every feature of her peaceful face. Her eyelids, usually so expressive, were now still, her lashes casting a delicate shadow on her cheeks. Her nose, small and slightly upturned, twitched slightly as she dreamed. And her lips, soft and inviting, curved into a gentle smile.
As he gazed at her, he felt his heart swell with gratitude. He was a lucky man to have Sanvi by his side. He reached out a hand, his fingers brushing against her hair, feeling the softness of her tresses. She stirred slightly, but didn't wake up.
He sat there for a while, watching her sleep, feeling the warmth of her presence, and the comfort of their quiet, peaceful life together.
As the darkness persisted, he decided to shed his kurta for some comfort. He slowly unbuttoned the garment, pulling it over his head.
As he attempted to remove his kurta, his movements caused something to fall to the floor. The sudden noise made Sanvi's eyes slowly open. As their gazes met, Sanvi's cheeks flushed.

As they sat together in the darkness, the air was thick with tension.
Sanvi's eyes were fixed on her husband, her lower lip caught between her teeth as she bit it sensually.
His eyes were drawn to the movement, his gaze burning with desire.
Without a word, he reached out and gently placed his hand on her waist. His touch sent shivers down her spine, and she felt her heart skip a beat.
His other hand came up to her face, his thumb tracing the curve of her cheekbone.
The touch was soft and soothing, but it sent sparks flying through her entire body.
The silence between them was sweet and intimate, the only sound the soft rhythm of their breathing.
It was as if time had stood still, and all that existed was the two of them, lost in the moment.
Slowly, he dragged his thumb down to her lower lip, freeing it from the grip of her teeth.
Her eyes locked onto his, and he could see the desire burning within them. He searched her face, his eyes drinking in the sight of her.
Without breaking eye contact, he slowly leaned in, his lips brushing against hers in a soft, gentle kiss. Sanvi's eyes fluttered closed, and she let out a soft moan as his lips danced across her skin.
He peppered her face with kisses, first on her eyes, then on her cheeks, and finally on her earlobe.
Sanvi's breath caught in her throat as his lips sent shivers down her spine. His kisses trailed down her neck, each one sending waves of pleasure through her entire body.
Sanvi's only response was a soft moan, her body arching into his touch. She was lost in the moment, her entire world narrowed down to the sensation of his lips on her skin.
The darkness around them seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the sweetness of their love.
Her gesture didn't go unnoticed. He took a step closer, his eyes locked on hers. Sanvi's heart skipped a beat as he gently grasped her nape, his fingers sending shivers down her spine.
She closed her eyes, anticipating something, but instead, he whispered, "Did you have dinner?"
Sanvi's eyes fluttered open, and she shook her head. He smiled slightly, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Get up, and let's have something to eat. I'm hungry too." Sanvi's gaze darted to the clock, and she hastily threw off the covers, exclaiming, "I'll be right back! Wash your hands and face!"
As she tried to rush past him, he caught her wrist and waist, holding her in place.
Sanvi's cheeks burned as she wriggled in his grasp. He leaned in, his voice low and sensual, "Bring dinner for both of us in one plate." Sanvi's face turned a deeper shade of red as he released her wrist.
She hastily retreated to the kitchen, her heart racing from their proximity.
As Sanvi walked into the kitchen, the warm glow of the dim lights enveloped her, casting a cozy ambiance over the entire space.
She moved with a quiet confidence, her steps light and purposeful as she made her way to the counter. With a gentle touch, she set a plate down, the soft clink of the ceramic against the granite countertop filling the silence.
Next, she carefully poured a portion of the dinner she had prepared onto the plate. The aroma of the meal wafted up, tantalizing her senses and teasing her taste buds. Sanvi's eyes sparkled with excitement as she anticipated sharing the meal with her loved one.
With the plate now filled, Sanvi picked it up and made her way back to the dining area. Her partner looked up as she approached, a warm smile spreading across their face. Sanvi's heart swelled with love and affection as she set the plate down in front of them.
Together, they sat down to enjoy their dinner, their eyes locked on each other as they savored each bite. The meal was a culinary delight, with each morsel a testament to Sanvi's culinary skills. As they ate, they shared bites with each other, the intimacy of the moment growing with each passing second.
The dinner was a slow and sensual experience, with each bite a delight for the senses. The flavors danced on their tongues, and the textures melted in their mouths. Time seemed to stand still as they enjoyed their meal together, the world outside fading into the background.
As they finished their dinner, Sanvi carefully picked up the plate and carried it back to the kitchen. She washed it with soap and warm water, the sound of the water and the clinking of the dishes filling the silence. With the plate clean, she dried it with a towel and put it away in its proper place.
With the kitchen tidy once again, Sanvi made her way back to their room. Her husband looked up as she entered, a warm smile still on their face.
As she entered the room, he couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement. He was lying on the bed, his eyes fixed intently on her. With a gentle smash of his hand on the mattress beside him, he signaled for her to come closer.
She slowed her pace, her eyes locked on his as she took tentative steps towards the bed. The air was thick with anticipation, and he could feel his heart pounding in his chest. As she reached the bedside, he reached out and gently grasped her wrist, pulling her into his side.
She let out a soft gasp as he pulled her close, her body molding into his as he wrapped his arms around her. He held her tightly, his fingers tracing the curve of her waist as he pulled her deeper into his embrace.
With a gentle nudge, he encouraged her to adjust comfortably beside him. She snuggled into his side, her head resting on his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around her. He held her close, feeling the warmth of her body seep into his.
As they lay there, he leaned in and pressed a gentle forehead kiss to her skin. The touch sent shivers down her spine, and she let out a soft sigh of contentment.
As he wrapped his arms around her, she felt a surge of excitement mixed with a sense of safety.
One hand rested on her waist, the other encircled her, pulling her close.
She leaned into him, her face buried in the warmth of his chest.
Her soft breath caressed his skin, sending shivers down his spine.
He leaned in, his lips brushing against the tender skin of her neck. She felt a jolt of electricity as his mouth made contact, and her breathing grew heavier.
He kissed her neck, his lips gentle yet insistent. His tongue darted out, tasting the sweetness of her skin. He sucked and nibbled, his teeth grazing her flesh, sending waves of pleasure coursing through her veins.
She didn't move from there, frozen in time, her body responding to his touch. Her breathing grew heavier, her chest rising and falling with each ragged inhale.
She felt her heart pounding in her chest, her pulse racing with excitement.
Despite the intensity of the moment, she remained still, letting him explore her skin. She was lost in the sensation of his touch, her mind clouded by the pleasure he was awakening within her.
As he continued to kiss and nibble her neck, she felt her body relax into his. Her muscles softened, her tension melting away under the gentle pressure of his lips. She was a captive of his touch, held prisoner by the sensations he was evoking within her.
Time stood still as they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms. The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the magic of the moment.
As the night wore on, they finally succumbed to exhaustion, their bodies entwined as they drifted off to sleep. The room was bathed in a soft, moonlit glow, casting a romantic ambiance over the scene.
Their chests rose and fell in tandem, their breathing slow and synchronized. Her head rested on his shoulder, her hair spilling across his chest like a cascade of silk. His arm wrapped around her, holding her close as they slept.
