Sanvi's pov
As I emerged from my slumber, I was greeted by the warm rays of the sun peeking through the windows, illuminating the room with a soft glow.
I stretched my arms and got out of bed, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The sweet melodies of birds chirping outside created a symphony that filled my heart with joy.
I decided to step out onto the terrace to soak in the beauty of nature. The cool breeze caressed my skin as I took a leisurely stroll around the terrace, feeling the gentle rustle of leaves beneath my feet.
The vibrant blue sky above seemed to stretch on forever, a breathtaking canvas of hues that left me spellbound.
After my refreshing terrace stroll, I returned inside and began my morning routine. I freshened up and donned the beautiful saree given to me by my mother.
The soft fabric draped elegantly around my body, the intricate patterns and colors seeming to dance in the morning light. I felt a sense of grace and poise as I wrapped the saree around me, the fabric whispering stories of tradition and love.

Satinder's mother, Jaswant , stepped out of the car and onto the dusty road leading to Sanvi's home. She adjusted her saree and took a deep breath, preparing herself for the meeting. Sanvi's parents, Rajinder and Nalini, welcomed her with a respectful namaste, their hands clasped together in greeting.
"Andr aa jaya" (Please, come in) Rajinder said, gesturing to the living room.
As they sat down, Jaswant couldn't help but notice the simple yet elegant decor of the room. She smiled, feeling a sense of comfort.
Nalini offered her a cup of tea, which Jaswant accepted gratefully. As they sipped their tea.
Hum ek achi ladki dhund rhe hai satender ke liya
(We're looking for a good match for our Satinder ) Jaswant said, her eyes sparkling with hope.
Rajinder nodded, his expression serious. "Ji hamari sanvi shi hogi" (We believe Sanvi would be a perfect match. She's a kind and gentle soul.)
Just then, Sanvi entered the room, wearing a beautiful yellow saree that accentuated her bright smile. Jaswant eyes widened in admiration.
" Sanvi, come here, beta," Nalini called out, beckoning her daughter to join them.
Sanvi approached, her eyes cast downward in shyness. Jaswant gaze followed her every move, taking in the way the saree draped elegantly around her slender frame.
"So, Sanvi, "khana bana ata hai " (do you know how to cook? ) Jaswant asked, her voice firm but kind.
Sanvi nodded, her eyes still downcast.
"Ghar ka kaam krna ata h"
(And do you know how to manage a household?) Jaswant continued.
Again, Sanvi nodded, her silence speaking volumes.
Jaswant smiled, pleased with the answers. "Naam kya hai tumhra" And (what's your name, ?)
"Saa-nnvii," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
Her heart swelled with affection. She could already imagine Sanvi as her daughter-in-law.
As the visit came to an end, Jaswant and her family bid farewell to Sanvi's parents, their faces beaming with happiness.
"The rishta is perfect," Jaswant exclaimed, turning to her husband. "Sanvi is a gem."
Rajinder and Nalini smiled, relieved and joyful. They knew their daughter was in good hands.
As the two families parted ways, Sanvi watched from the window, her heart fluttering with excitement. She had no idea what the future held, but she knew she was ready to take the first step.
Satinder's pov
I, entered Sanvi's home, I couldn't help but notice the girl sitting in the corner, her face partially hidden by a pallu.
She was wearing a stunning yellow saree that seemed to glow in the dim light of the room. But what caught my attention was the way she handled herself with such grace, despite being unable to walk in her saree.
Her mother, Nalini, noticed my gaze and smiled. "Sanvi, come here, beta," she called out, beckoning her daughter to join us.
Sanvi slowly got up, her movements hesitant, and began to make her way towards us. I could see that she was struggling to walk in her saree, but she didn't let it deter her. She took small steps, her hands holding onto the fabric, and finally reached us.
My mother asked her a series of questions, testing her knowledge and values. Sanvi answered each question in a sweet, melodious voice, her words laced with hesitation. I was struck by her gentleness, her humility.
But what I couldn't see was her complete face. The pallu covered most of it, leaving only her eyes and nose visible. Yet, even in that limited glimpse, I saw a beauty that took my breath away.
Her eyes sparkled like diamonds, shining with a quiet confidence. Her nose was small and delicate, slightly upturned, giving her an endearing look. And her voice, oh her voice, it was like music to my ears.
As the conversation went on, I found myself drawn to Sanvi, despite not being able to see her fully. There was something about her that captivated me, something that made me want to know more.
When Nalini asked her to remove her pallu, Sanvi hesitated, her hands fluttering around her head. But eventually, she slowly lifted the fabric, revealing a face that took my breath away.
Her skin was smooth and unblemished, her features delicate yet striking. Her eyes sparkled even brighter now, shining with a quiet beauty. I felt my heart skip a beat as I gazed at her, my mind reeling with emotions.
In that moment, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Sanvi. I wanted to be the one to help her walk in her saree, to hold her hand when she stumbled, to be her rock in times of need.
As we left Sanvi's home that day, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement, of hope. I knew that I had found someone special, someone who would be my partner, my friend, my everything.
Sanvi's pov
As I, sat in the corner of the room, I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. My heart was racing with excitement, yet my hands were trembling with nervousness. I had always dreamed of this moment, of meeting the man my parents had chosen for me to marry.
But what if he didn't like me? What if I wasn't good enough?
My mother called out to me, asking me to join them. I slowly got up, my movements hesitant, and began to make my way towards them. I could feel their eyes on me, judging me, and I couldn't help but wonder what they saw.
As I reached them, my sasu ma ji asked me a series of questions, testing my knowledge and values. I answered each question in a sweet, melodious voice, trying to hide my nervousness. But inside, I was screaming with anxiety.
What if I said something wrong? What if I didn't meet their expectations?
But then, I saw him. He was looking at me with such intensity, such curiosity. And yet, he seemed kind, gentle. I felt a sense of calm wash over me, and I knew that I wanted to make a good impression.
When my mother asked me to remove my pallu, I hesitated. What if he didn't like my face? What if I wasn't beautiful enough?
But then, I looked into his eyes, and I saw something there that gave me courage. I slowly lifted the fabric, revealing my face, and I saw a spark of recognition in his eyes.
He smiled, and I felt my heart skip a beat. Maybe, just maybe, this was the start of something beautiful.
As they left, I couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. Maybe I had found someone who would love me for who I am, pallu and all.
